Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor was in Richland County to meet with a local business that is working with JobsOhio to create more jobs for Ohioans. The Mansfield News Journal has more:
Cole Tool & Die’s chief financial officer said the company is growing and is hiring general laborers, tool and die makers, maintenance workers, press operators and quality technicians.
Monday, company executives showcased the expanded 66,000-square-foot facility at 466 Ohio 314 to Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor and local media.
“The major products we produce go on Ford, General Motor and Chrysler,” said Mark Damberger. “We ship about five percent to Mexico and the rest is United States.”
Damberger said the company has grown from 18 employees to about 55 employees with temporary workers. “We’re going to grow to 75 (employees) by the end of the year,” he said.
